Welcome to Woodside Preschool

Woodside Preschool is committed to providing an inclusive high quality, educational, play-based curriculum. Staff strive to work in partnership with parents and the community to provide a safe, welcoming, stimulating and happy learning environment.

The centre is located within the township of Woodside, in the Adelaide Hills, and is a short walking distance to Woodside Primary, our main feeder school.

Please contact the centre with any enquiries and feel welcome to make a time to drop into the centre to meet the staff and experience the atmosphere and the program in action.

Session Times

All four-year old children in South Australia are entitled to attend up to four sessions of preschool per week in the four terms prior to commencing school. These sessions may comprise full days or single sessions. A lunchtime program operates for children attending all day (fee payable).

Monday: 8.45am - 11.45am and 12.30pm - 3.30pm
Tuesday: 8.45am - 11.45am and 12.30pm - 3.30pm
Wednesday: 8.45am - 11.45am and 12.30pm - 3.30pm
Thursday 8.45am - 11.45am

Other Programs

Pre-entry
Pre-entry is an unfunded introductory session to Preschool offered by the centre once a week for the term prior to commencing full time sessions. Sessions offered are at the discretion of the centre, depending on staffing levels, children's attendance etc. Pre-entry session times run in conjunction with normal session times.

Playgroup Information

Playgroup is voluntarily run by parents for any interested families in the community. All new members are welcome.

It is held every Friday ( 9.30am -  11.30am) during school terms and costs $2 per session per family. In addition, an annual Playgroup Association of Australia membership fee is applicable. For more information refer to the Playgroup Booklet.

Occasional Care

Occasional Care provides 'now and then' childcare to enable parents/caregivers to participate in activities, keep appointments, or have a break from their child/ren on an occasional basis.

The centre has three sessions available per week.
Monday: 8.45am - 11.45am
Wednesday: 8.45am - 11.45am
Thursday: 8.45am - 11.45am

Fees:
Full Fee: $5.00 per session
Concession: $2.50 per session or $1.50 per session, depending on benefits received.
